Khadijah Khalid is a Senior Locum Speech-Language Therapist (SLT) at Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Pacific Speech Therapy and Learning Centre PJ, and Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. She offers expert care and support to individuals with communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
Ms. Jowynna Yeo
Consultant Dietitian
Jowynna Yeo is an experienced paediatric dietitian who has served at ABC Clinic for over 7 years. Before joining ABC, she gained experience working at Hospital Tuanku Ja'afar, Assunta Hospital, and ParkCity Medical Centre.
With extensive experience in paediatric nutrition, she provides expert guidance and support to parents facing challenging feeding issues. She offers practical tips and assists every step of the way, from selecting better ingredients and adopting nutritious cooking methods to creative meal preparation, nutrient-dense recipes, feeding schedules, and more.
Her expertise in paediatric nutrition has gained recognition, leading to features in the media, including Berita Harian, BFM 89.9, LITE.fm, Harian Metro, and The Asian Parent.
Feeding Concerns:
- Babies born premature or small at birth requiring catch-up growth
- Inadequate food intake
- Limited food variety (eat less than 20 foods)
- Prolonged feeding duration (more than 30 minutes)
- Challenges with food transition
- Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID)
- Persistent gagging, coughing, or choking during meals
Oral Motor Sensory Issues :
- Reluctance to open the mouth
- Difficulty chewing solids (swallowing whole or spitting out food)
- Preference for specific food textures

- Excessive drooling during meals
- Inability to drink from a straw or open cup (6 months and older)
- Difficulty latching and coordinating suck-swallow-breathe (for infants)
Growth Concerns:
- Short stature for age
- Poor weight gain / Failure to thrive (Faltering growth )
